News from 2007
January
not only marked the beginning of a new year, it also brought with it
a number of new beginnings for Custom Vacform Components Inc. Please read on to see what
new things have come our way.
ISO Registration
Early
in January CVC completed a successful audit of its ISO 9001 program
to the 2000 standard.
Maintaining a strong quality program is crucial to CVC’s
success as a viable supplier to its customers. The audit was completed
non-conformances free which indicates how the employees of CVC have
embraced our quality program.
They should be congratulated for keeping their “eye on the
ball” through this time of change in the
organization.
Minority Shareholder Buyout
At the beginning of
2007 the minority shareholders of Custom Vacform Components sold
their shares to the existing majority shareholder. As a result of the
transaction the management, Roy Ford and Mark Oribine, left the
company. We thank them
for their contributions to Custom Vacform Components and wish them
well with their new endeavours in other
fields.
This change marks a
renewed direction for the company and is a strong “vote of
confidence” for Custom Vacform Components by its financial
backers. We look
forward to taking the company to the next level and servicing the
changing needs of our customer base.
New General Manager
It is with pleasure
that Custom Vacform Components announces the hiring of a new General
Manager, Dave Young. Dave comes to CVC with
nearly fifteen years of vacuum forming experience. He will bring proven
manufacturing methods well suited for a custom operation such as
Custom Vacform Components.
We look forward to developing closer links to our customers
and suppliers under Dave’s leadership.
